“In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich”. -Dietrich Bonhoeffer

I am grateful for the weather slowly warming up, the small buds beginning to form on my favorite tree, for the lighter evenings, and the gorgeous sunset I saw on my walk home last night. For another day, another hour, another moment.

“To him who, in the love of Nature, holds
Communion with her visible forms, she speaks

William Cullen BryantThanatopsis

I’m back from my travels and have many pics to post over the next few days. It was so wonderful to escape, to see things that were green, breathe in air that was fresh, hear the birds sing without the roar of city life. We were sad to come back to a storm hitting the east coast but hopefully winter will come to an end soon and it can become green here again as well. I’m so ready!
