I find pleasure in life’s simple things: a meal shared with friends, exploring a place for the first time, a child’s face lit up with laughter. These experiences fill our lives with joy, and I love photography because it allows me to capture these moments.

My work focuses on food, travel and lifestyle. I’ve always loved traveling, but my interest in food is more recently acquired. My husband, Kim Howe, is an excellent cook. I started taking photos of his food for camera practice and discovered my niche.

I love exploring the intersection of humans and food: how we grow, prepare and consume it. I always aim to take photos that make the viewer’s mouth water. Getting to eat the goods afterward is just one of the perks of my job!

I work with a Canon EOS D40, Digital Rebel EOS, Powershot SD300, and Powershot S5IS. Images are re-mastered in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
